I have been thinking what to say in this post... and I finally decided.

Nearing the end of summer, I decided to give myself 2 options as for blog makeovers. Option one would be that I would stop doing them. Option two would be that I would take a break and continue later.

I have decided with option two. I just can't bear to stop doing them. I have "met" so many wonderful people giving makeovers, discovered new blogs, etc. I have had so many people email me just thanking me for doing this. And I don't want to let them down.

But... at this point in life, I just can't do makeovers. The month of August has been filled to the brim. We went to the beach and I've been getting ready for school. School started on Tuesday and we left on Wednesday for our school retreat. On top of that my laptop broke (and it has the program I use) and I just recently got it back but am having trouble with my email.

Last but not least, I am taking all honors classes and am gone 12 hours a day at swimming, school, and cross country. And once I get home at 7:30 I will still have homework. I will rarely get to see my little sister anymore and right now school, family, friends and God come before computer. I also spend way to much time on the computer and really need to lower that.

All this to say... I am going to stop blog makeovers for a little bit. I need to get in a routine and once I do, I will open up Mei'd with Love again. If you have emailed me before I posted this, most likely I have not emailed back. And that is because I've had email troubles. Anyway I am going to try to respond to those emails and those of you still wanting makeovers, I will try to do in the next 2 weeks. As for other makeovers, I hope to be back within a month or 2.

I did this one the other day. I love the way it came out. I made the polka dot background (as I do with most all of my polka dot backgrounds) and I love the way it came out. This is actually not the actual one I used, I think I overwrote that one, but it's pretty similar, just more spaced out and light colors.

Mei'd With Love is my new business. A few weeks ago, I had someone email me asking if I could redesign her blog. I happily took on the task and she asked why I didn't make it into a business. So, I started asking people if they wanted blog makeovers. So that is one part of my business: Blog Makeovers. Re-doing your blog is totally free.

The second (and main) part of Mei'd With Love is "Hair Bow Holders". I do so much blog reading. SO much. One day I came across a very, very cute bow holder and I though, "Why couldn't I make that?" So began my bow holder business. I made my first one for my mei mei and mom mom said, "Why not make them and sell them?" So that's what I'm doing. The hair bow holders will range from $17-25 plus shipping.

About me, you say. I'm Emily. I'll be 14 in 15 days and I am a full time big sister ;-). I was the baby all my life until 2005 when my parents decided we needed a 6th family member. So began our adoption journey. We came home with my lovely sister (now 16 months old!) on December 20, 2006. She is happy thriving, and yes, she wears her bows! :)
